Project Description
A configurable app for Windows 7, Vista and XP to download wallpapers from InterfaceLIFT.com or WallpaperStock.com and change them periodically.

It's developed in C#.

It uses .Net Framework v3.5 to work which can be downloaded from microsoft.com.

Features

It runs in background and can be controlled from System Tray.
It can be configured to
1. start with Windows.
2. look for wallpapers in multiple folders including/excluding subfolders. Best results when used with matching resolution wallpapers.
3. change wallpaper once every preferred duration between 1 min and 500 hrs. It will understand "000 Hrs/Mins 000 Min" format. It can interpret M/Min/Mins/Minutes and H/Hr/Hrs/Hour as Minutes and Hours respectively.
4. confirm before changing wallpaper.
5. adjust image positioning for odd size wallpapers.
You can also change wallpaper manually by clicking 'Juggle Now' menu or double clicking the icon.
It allows only one instance at a time.
It also displays the last updated wallpaper and the time stamp when the next change will occur.
"Active" option to enable/disable wallpaper juggling while program is running.
Last changed wallpaper is a clickable menu which opens the wallpaper in windows explorer.
It downloads stunning wallpapers from interfaceLIFT.com and WallpaperStock.com using "Download Wallpapers" screen.

Created Issue: Juggler not cycling "balls" [6845]

Juggler should cycle through all available wallpapers. Once it shows one wallpaper it should not show it again until the full circle (through available wallpapers) is made. In my case i repeatably hit "Juggle Now" just so i see different wallpapers on my desktop and can decide which ones to keep and which ones to delete, so that "Wallpaper Juggler" then only show me wallpapers i really like. This is difficult to achieve since "Juggle Now" basically just shows me "some" of my wallpapers and many of theme multiple times and some even when it is already shown - so it show me the same wallpaper two times in row. That is frustrating for me. I believe there should be some option to set how a user wants to juggle or at least have juggler behave by default so that it goes randomly through all wallpapers but does not show you the same wallpaper multiple times, at least not until full circle cycle through all available wallpapers is completed.

I been using this in all of my computers but now suddenly, one by one the juggler started to crash on startup....I reinstall dotnet 3.5 again and still it crashes at startup.... do you have a fix for this....

I picked at the source code and I have solved the issue. The parameters for downloading from Interfacelift are outdated. The constructor for InterfaceLiftWallpaperCrawler should read as follows:

I have attached a zip file with fixed binaries (Juggler.exe and Juggler.exe.config) and the fixed source code file (InterfaceLiftWallpaperCrawler.cs). Only the binaries are required to run the fixed version. Please note this is bound to change, and downloading from Interfacelift is still somewhat buggy - I recommend using Concurrent Downloads set to 1.

Could you please add a bicubic filter when resizing wallpapers, I've got a lot of walls in 1080p and they look horrible on my 720p laptop. Thanks.

Description:
This mod allows Juggler to be set to change by the second, not just the minute. The span allowed by the app is now 1 Second - 500 Hours. This change allows users to use juggler in place of a photo screen-saver. The compiled Juggler.exe is in the root of the zip file.

Detailed Changes:
Program.cs:
Changed Regex pattern to match seconds on line 30.
Changed SetTickerInterval to include seconds.
Updated IsValidInterval to use GetIntervalInSeconds as mentioned in the next line.
Renamed GetIntervalInMiutes to GetIntervalInSeconds and updated it to parse seconds.
PreferencesForm.cs:
Changed the Message box on line 151 to accurately reflect the valid times.
PreferencesForm.designer.cs:
Added 30 Secs, 1Mins, and 10Mins to the time selection Combo Box on line 154.

It would be great to have Wallpaper Juggler recognize Windows shortcuts/symlinks if they refer to a jpg. The default Windows wallpaper folder, for example, is a folder of links.

when trying to download them from WallpaperStock, I get the error:
Error occurred. The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden

I think we need more wallpaper sources.. :\
